Beach in the heart of an urbanisation, surrounded by a pine forest, which offers a lifeguard service and a beach bar that makes it seem like you are sailing.
Binibèquer beach is one of the most popular beaches on the south-east coast of Menorca, located just 6 km from the town of Sant Lluís and only 9 nautical miles from the Port of Mahón. After 20 minutes of sailing, you will reach the cove. It is a semi-urban beach surrounded by rocks, which, thanks to its good conservation, is as if we were on a virgin beach, surrounded by pine trees, transparent water and fine white sand, characteristic of the south of the island. In addition, it has a unique beach bar, located in an old fisherman’s house where you can enjoy a good meal with idyllic and dreamlike views, and it also has a hammock and sun lounger service, and canoe and electric scooter rentals. Perfect accessories for a magnificent day at the beach. On the other hand, at the back of the beach there is a pine forest with picnic tables, perfect shade for eating and resting. For those looking for an even more relaxing swim, on the right-hand side of the beach, you will find a small beach hidden among rocks, which, with luck, you may find empty. The beach also has showers, toilets, a car park and a lifeguard hut that will allow safe swimming throughout the day. In addition, it is adapted for people with reduced mobility as a walkway is installed for wheelchair access. Just over 1 km to the west, you will find the well-known “Binibeca Fishing Village”, built in 1972 and characterised by its unique architecture. Walking through its picturesque and labyrinthine cobbled streets will allow you to discover the unusual tranquillity that is breathed in its surroundings and observe its small white houses of irregular shapes.
The urbanisation also has a large number of restaurants, among which stands out the “Paupa” known for its parties on Full Moon days, as well as other bars, play areas, supermarkets and souvenir and clothing shops, which offer numerous leisure possibilities to visitors and holidaymakers in the area.
